We are a family-run home business, based in the Jonkershoek valley of Stellenbosch. UKWENZA (Xhosa: to make) has been encouraging and teaching people of all ages the simple technique of weaving on our Ukwenza Bead Loom.

The Ukwenza Bead Loom is fully manufactured in Cape Town, South Africa. Its unique design provides you with various options and adjustments, which means you can choose your weaving position - either setting the Ukwenza Bead Loom to be worked as a flat table loom, or the more user-friendly standing loom. You also have the option of increasing the width of your Ukwenza Bead Loom with our Extension Kit

Weaving kits, a large range of glass seedbeads, threads, needles and accessories are available by mail order.
